Consumer Health Data Privacy
This separate notice explains how the current Toast & Fig Jam guest and account preview handles information that may qualify as consumer health data under applicable law.
Optional browser drafts
If you choose “Keep a draft in this browser,” your current check-in writing, reflection, corrections and choices are stored on this browser for up to 24 hours. Later changes are kept while the check-in tab remains open. The draft is not sent to our servers or synced to another browser or device by this feature. A separate AI request or account-save action still follows the processing described below.
Anyone using this browser profile can restore the draft. Saving locally is not a private account lock. You can delete it in the check-in; deleting the browser draft leaves the current tab’s writing in memory until you leave. Expired drafts cannot be restored and are removed when the site is next open. Clearing this site’s browser data also removes the draft. Signing out or deleting an account does not delete a separate browser draft.
Consumer health data in the current product
The Guided Moment may receive information you choose to share about a life area, felt experience, capacity, need, support, action, or outcome. Most unsaved selections stay in the browser. Raw moment and outcome writing is processed only to return the requested reflection and is not stored in the product database. If you explicitly save, Toast & Fig Jam stores only the reflection, learning, support, and next-step fields you review and approve. We do not use ordinary technical request information to infer your physical or mental health status.
Ongoing support, where available, also stores the situation, goals, constraints, optional check-ins, background and learning notes, connected records, and plans you explicitly confirm. You choose what to keep and can correct, disconnect, export or delete it. AI guidance is a separate choice: the current focus, at most four connected records and twelve confirmed notes may be sent to OpenAI. Other focuses are excluded, and possible connections are not saved unless you write and confirm your own learning.
If you email or call us and voluntarily share information about your health, state, relationships, supports, or care, we may receive that information as part of the communication. Please do not include sensitive or urgent information in an email or voicemail.
Sources and purposes
Consumer health data comes directly from you when you choose to use a Guided Moment, save a Personal Map, complete an Outcome Reflection, or provide it in a phone or email communication. We use it to provide the reflection, support map, action and learning you request; operate and secure the service; respond to your request; protect the service or people where legally permitted; and comply with applicable law. We do not use it for behavioral advertising.
Sharing
Hosting, database, authentication, security, email, AI, phone, or other service providers may process the minimum information needed on our behalf to transmit, store, secure, or maintain the applicable service. Google Workspace processes business email you send us, including any health information you voluntarily include. When you explicitly choose AI for a reflection, the bounded task may send that writing to OpenAI. The initial Guided Moment also offers a reviewed non-AI path. Outcome Reflection is optional; you can stop before sending your writing. Stopping after a request begins cannot recall data already sent for processing. Not saving writing in our product database does not mean a provider retains no data. Provider retention and deletion terms require separate review before public AI release. Stripe does not receive Guided Moment or Personal Map content. We do not share consumer health data with affiliates or third parties for their own advertising, profiling, or independent commercial purposes.
No sale
Toast & Fig Jam does not sell consumer health data.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to confirm whether we collect or share consumer health data, access that data, request deletion, withdraw consent, or appeal a refusal. Email privacy@toastandfigjam.com or call (314) 254-2647 and say that you are making a consumer health data request. We may need to verify your identity. If we deny a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process required by law.
Account scope and future features
Accounts are currently limited to adults living in the United States. This limitation does not replace state-specific review or any consent required by applicable consumer health data law. Before public account invitations, paid checkout, connected data, research, or a broader geographic launch, we will complete the applicable review and update this notice if categories, purposes, sharing, processors, or retention change.
